Peaberry
A peaberry coffee bean is a natural phenomenon where the coffee cherry only one bean that is round shaped, instead of the usual 2 beans with a flat side. According to coffee folklore, peaberries are deemed superior because all the flavors of a double bean is now absorbed into a single bean.
Peaberry coffee is typically more more complex and aromatic but somewhat lighter in body, than the normally shaped coffee from the same tree.
Our Yunnan peaberry is full bodied with lots of brightness and clear fruity, and berry-like undertone. Perfect for slow sipping throughout the day.

Yunnan’s specialty coffees have many unique qualities including nuttiness, fragrant spices, chocolate, tea and dried cherries flavor profiles. The latitudinal position of Yunnan means there are much cooler temperatures at night at higher altitudes which provides a much sweeter quality to the bean.

I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like the acidic taste in coffee, but for this coffee is not so sour, these is a trace of sweetness and actually the acidity accentuate the flavour notes of this coffee. It’s definitely worth trying.
